UCLA SCAAPD

our mission

because we caries.

The Student Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (SCAAPD) at UCLA is a community of dental students, residents, and faculty members interested in improving children’s oral health at UCLA and within the surrounding community.  We will do this by raising awareness about the field of Pediatric Dentistry, organize health fairs to educate the surrounding community about the importance of oral health care for children and how to achieve it, and coordinate events to educate dental students about the techniques related to oral health care instruction in children.
